The Perfect Recipe for a “Home-Based Business

Some say,”It is the Pioneering Spirit of the American people that drives us to want to be independent.” Others say,”We are born with an instinct for self-sufficiency.” Whatever the reason, most Americans dream of having their own business someday without dependence on a paycheck from a company, that may not be there tomorrow. It is this hunger that is responsible for 200,000 Americans per week; starting a Home-Based Business. Unfortunately, 197,000 of them will fail. The main reason these hard working, trying to get ahead, have a better life for themselves, people fail is simple. In their search to fulfill their dream, they are bombarded with every “Get Rich Quick Scheme”, “Set it and Forget It”, “Turn $200 into $20,000″ and never have to do a thing. The Home-Based and MLM businesses that seem to be working and making profit are those that have a “product” that the general population NEED and can AFFORD.
With that being said, I am going to highlight one such industry which had over a billion dollars in sales for the last 12 months. After speaking personally with several associates in thePrePaid Legal industry, it became clear that most were making a very respectable income from their personal efforts marketing memberships. When I asked about how they increased their “Downline” , almost all indicated that their downline growth was more of a by-product of their personal success, instead of giving empty promises of instant wealth dropping into their laps. I knew I wanted to know more about this industry and their product.
Three decades after PrePaid Legal swept into the Home-Based Business and MLM arena, it seems to be positioned to explode again. Many economic analysts are saying, “PrePaid Legal is following the exact path of growth and population penetration that Health Insurance did 50 years ago. PrePaid Legal has evolved into a product that can stand on it’s own, regardless of the marketing methodology. As it gets tougher and tougher to find marketable products, one may want to take a look at PrePaid Legal. Many times it is that one other product in our line, that can take us to the top. It would seem PrePaid Legal is heading there. I shared this not to exalt this industry or product over another. I am only suggesting this may be a good sister product for what you are already doing or a great startup product.
